The Music Is Here: Welcome to MiEon
We have always been writers. Books, research, policy, and words have been our work for years. But some things don’t fit on a page. Some things have to be sung.
So we started making music. And today, we are opening the doors. Typically, we make promo music videos for the books, but we chose to write the songs ourselves.
The new Music page on mieon.net is live. It's a home for the songs we have been writing as MiEon.
Here’s how it works, and we want to be transparent: we write every song. The stories, the lyrics, the emotion; it all comes from our lives. The themes are real: love and marriage, family and the family we choose, the ones who lift us up and the ones who drain us, healing, getting older, the grind of showing up every day, and a few songs that’ll just make you laugh. Then we use AI tools to help produce the tracks and build the music videos that bring them to life.
It’s a new way to create. The music is free. The heart and the words are ours; the technology helps us put it in your ears and in front of your eyes. For writers who’ve always wanted their words to reach more people, in more ways, it’s been a gift.
You’ll find songs about us, chosen family, the ones we've loved and lost, peace and boundaries, Flint, faith and work, and everything in between. Some will make you feel seen. Some will make you laugh out loud. All of them are honest.
Come listen. Come watch. The Music page is up now, and new songs and videos are on the way.

The words are always ours. Now they have a sound. Welcome to MiEon.
