Mark your calendars and set your alarms to help us crown this incredible literary duo, Rajah and Felicia Smart, as the winners. Your vote can make all the difference.

Let's show our support for a love story that has been 32 years in the making!

Introducing MiEon, a dynamic duo of literary visionaries comprised of Rajah Eon Smart and Felicia Mihele Smart, who are entering the "America's Favorite Couple" contest. Their lasting partnership, which began in 1992, is a testament to their enduring love and creative collaboration.

The "America's Favorite Couple" contest, hosted by Jeff Goldblum and Emilie Livingston, seeks to find the ultimate love story. The winning couple will not only be crowned "America's Favorite Couple" but will also receive a $20,000 prize and a feature in a Variety advertorial. This contest is also a fundraiser that supports the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana, so every vote contributes to a great cause.

In the hallowed, linoleum-lined halls of Beecher High School, a legend was brewing. Not the legend of a championship football team, but the slow-burn, will-they-won't-they saga of Rajah and Felicia. It was the kind of story that didn't so much start with a bang as it did with a series of awkward hellos near the lockers and maybe a shared, pitying glance during a particularly baffling geometry class. This wasn't love at first sight. It was more like "endurance at first sight."

For years, they orbited each other like two planets with weirdly conflicting gravitational pulls. Finally, in 1992, after a courtship period that lasted roughly as long as a presidential administration, they decided to make it official. The universe breathed a sigh of relief. The angels wept. And their friends probably said, "Finally! Now can you please be weird together instead of separately?"

And so began the true test. You see, being a couple isn't all sunset walks and sharing milkshakes. Sometimes, it’s a high-stakes professional negotiation over who has to take the trash out (a debate you can probably find archived on their LinkedIn profiles under "Advanced Conflict Resolution"). Sometimes it’s about patience—the kind of saintly patience required when one person is telling a story with more detours than a cross-country road trip.

Their journey has been less of a gentle, meandering river and more of a theme park ride that occasionally loses power. They’ve navigated the treacherous waters of "lost children," which, for legal and sanity reasons, we'll clarify means "losing their minds because of their children," not misplacing them in a department store... for more than an hour. They’ve waded through the murky swamps of distant family, where love is sometimes best expressed through a politely ignored friend request. There have been ups, downs, and moments where the only logical explanation was that they were secretly the subjects of a very strange reality TV show.

Through it all, they’ve developed a unique set of survival skills, which they now generously share with the world via their social media channels.

  • Love & Comedy: Tune into their TikTok, and you'll witness the perfect fusion of these two. You’ll see a dance trend executed with the grace of two flamingos in hiking boots, or a prank war that escalates with terrifying speed, proving that laughter isn't just the best medicine; it's also the best defense.

  • Patience & Communication: Watch their YouTube channel. You might find a tutorial on a complex artistic project where one of them patiently explains a technique while the other communicates pure, unfiltered chaos in the background. It’s a masterclass in speaking and not listening.

  • Professionalism & Artistry: Scroll through their Instagram. You’ll find a beautifully composed, artistic photo of a serene landscape, followed by an Instagram Story revealing that the photo was taken moments after a heated, professional-level debate about the correct use of GPS.

Rajah and Felicia are a living testament to the fact that a perfect couple does not agree on everything. It's one that is deeply committed to navigating the beautiful, bizarre, and utterly hilarious mess of life together. They've been in it for the long haul, armed with love, a dangerously good sense of humor, and an internet connection to broadcast their glorious madness. And that, right there, is the stuff of a true favorite couple.
